Project Planning & Scheduling
- Work closely with proposal team during bidding/ estimating phase of project, Develop well-defined and properly sequenced work activities;
- Develop and maintain project schedule for assigned projects during project execution;
- Analyze all contract and proposal data, establish well-defined work activities and create a comprehensive properly linked schedule and project planning package.
- monitor and report schedule progress and forecast completion dates
- Prepare bar charts, Critical path analysis, S-curves, and carryout schedule analysis; participate in development of mitigation plans
- Understand the flow and logistics required for execution of project
- Organize large amount of information into coherent, meaningful format
- Extract, translate and report periodic schedule progress data for management reporting
- Coordinate the preparation of the monthly schedule and progress updates
- Facilitate periodic schedule risk assessments in detail to ascertain all impacts of any performance uncertainties and risks.
- Operate Primavera and Microsoft Project scheduling software
- Work within Company policy
- 3-7 years of experience as a Project Scheduler involved in scheduling supporting offshore oil & gas projects, Power Plant, or refinery EPC or Construction Management projects
- Proficient with creating new & maintaining existing schedules using Primavera P6 / Microsoft Project software
- Ability to combine multiple schedules
- Ability to demonstrate understanding of tender / Bid documents for contracts and project management methodology.
- Produce CPM schedules and associated progress reporting and project analysis
- Familiar with Earned Value Analysis (EVA)
- Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Fluent in using Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Take Lead for cost and schedule analysis,
- Report on project deviations and participate in the development of mitigation plans,
- Provide leadership for project planning and scheduling activities,
- Prepare cost reports, develop cost forecasts and monitor cost performance,
- Assemble and coordinate weekly and monthly progress reports,
- Work closely with clients team,
- Ability to influence change and build consultative partnerships with the project teams.
- As a team leader, possess a high level of proficiency in planning, cost management and project control methods
- 3 -7 years of experience with exposure to offshore oil & gas projects, Power Plant, or refinery EPC or Construction Management projects
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of understanding for contracts and project management methodology.
- Ability to assimilate multiple information & data, analysing cost and schedule variances
- Communication, negotiation, influencing skills and competency in report writing.
- Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Fluent in using Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Defines project needs for estimation in accordance with contractual requirements, objectives and procedures
- Reviews or assists in reviewing estimating related provisions of proposals and develops supporting data
- Participates in establishing pricing structures to be applied.
- analyze and compile data on every factor that may affect cost; Break down all expenses including materials, labor, and other resources
- Estimating quantities based on proposal documents; cost estimation for various disciplines in liaison with technical team
- Reviews and critiques designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives when appropriate
- Review of general /or discipline estimates.
- Provide estimating assistance guidance to the projects
- Prepares cost trend estimates in support of projects
- 6-8 years of experience in developing cost estimates for offshore oil & gas projects, Power Plant, or refinery EPC or Construction Management projects
- Must be comfortable estimating Multi-Million dollar projects
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of understanding for multidiscipline activities and needs
- Ability to demonstrate understanding of tender / Bid documents and its techno commercial aspects
- Knowledge of commodity market trends mainly for metals
- Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Fluent in using Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
